So, today I was
chatting texting with my friend... and I told her that I had put Xay in his first time out. (Mind you I put him there because he was trying to put a big wooden plaque through my tv) After saying "NO" to him and seeing that he wasn't listening I took him over to his chair and faced him towards the wall where he had his 1 minute time out. I was told that it's a minute for each year they are... my friend seemed disappointed that I would put an almost one year old in time out. I think that time outs are good, and instructive way of letting them know what's right from wrong. So far it's working, so I will continue doing it this way and see how it goes. So far, I'm "pro" time-out.
